Dr. Conrad Murray Interviewed in Michael Jackson Case; Singer's Family Still Suspicious

It seemed weird when he pulled a Mark Sanford and went off the grid, but Dr. Conrad Murray - who met with police last night - is no more than a witness when it comes to the death of Michael Jackson, according to the physician's attorney.

Investigators met with Murray for about three hours Saturday night after he voluntarily contacted authorities. Dr. Conrad Murray (also known as Dr. Conrad Robert Murray) is certain he is in no way responsible for the death of Jackson.

The LAPD released this statement:

"Dr. Conrad Murray, the physician who was with Michael Jackson at the time of his collapse, voluntarily contacted the Los Angeles Police Department."

"Detectives met with Dr. Murray and conducted an extensive interview. Dr. Murray was cooperative and provided information which will aid the investigation."

Murray is now free to go if he wants, but says he plans on staying in town "out of the goodness of his heart." His lawyer says there is "no need for further questioning" of Murray, but says the doctor "wants to help out as much as possible."

He is not considered a suspect.

Despite all of this, Michael Jackson's family members still have their suspicions about Dr. Conrad Murray and what happened on the day Jackson died.

A source close to the family says they feel Conrad Murray should not be cleared of any wrongdoing just yet. The family requested a second autopsy to find out the last drug Jackson took. A Demerol overdose has been rumored but not confirmed.

The family feels once those results are known, a criminal investigation will take place. The family is questioning Dr. Murray's abilities as a doctor.

In the Michael Jackson 911 call, the caller says Dr. Murray was performing CPR on Jackson on a bed; CPR is routinely performed on a hard surface.

Michael Jackson Autopsy Allegedly Reveals Brittle, Ailing Star

The autopsy on Michael Jackson's body revealed him to be in terrible shape, with only pills in his stomach when he died, according to a report out of the UK.

These findings seem to substantiate allegations made by former Jackson nanny Grace Rwaramba, however, neither story has been independently confirmed.

The Sun, which claims to have obtained the autopsy results, claims:

Michael Jackson's hips, thighs and shoulders were riddled with needle wounds.
There is unexplained bruising on Jackson's knees and on the front of his shins.
That he weighed just 112 pounds, a shockingly low number for a 5'10" man.
His body was covered by a plethora of surgery scars were thought to be the result of at least 13 plastic surgery operations.

The star was bald at the time of his death and suffered several broken ribs, probably from the failed attempts to revive him.
There were four "injection sites" near his heart, where rescue workers reportedly shot adrenaline into his heart to restart it.

Little, Brown Book Group has revealed its cover for the movie tie-in edition of New Moon. The redesigned novel will soon hit bookstores everywhere, as it coincides with the hype for the November 20 release of the film.

Lautner and Stewart (as Jacob and Bella, respectively) are seen below in an embrace, as a vision of an angered Edward (Robert Pattinson) lurks in the shadows.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick Welcome Twins!

The surrogate mother helping Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick expand their brood gave birth to twin daughters today, according to reports.

Sources tell 7 News in Martins Ferry, Ohio, that Parker and Broderick are at the hospital with the surrogate, who was recently the target of extortion.

Parker and Broderick are expected to make some type of announcement before leaving the hospital. Officially, the hospital has no comment at this time.

Security at the hospital is tight, with additional guards brought in and even more on standby, if needed, as the story is expected to get major attention.

The pair first announced they were expecting twins in April.

Zsa Zsa still mad at Dingdong Dantes for hurting Karylle

ZSA ZSA Padilla’s last album was made seven years ago with Viva Records. She has since moved to PolyEast, where her daughter Karylle released an album recently. Why the seven-year gap?

“I was fighting kasi for an all original OPM album but Viva failed to give it to me,” she says. “Then this offer from PolyEast came, ‘Unchanging Love’. Hindi rin all original, sa next album ko na raw yun, but it does have original Tagalog songs, ‘Kung’, ‘Iibigin Kita Muli’ and ‘Pagmamahal na Walang Wakas’.”

After singing with Hotdog briefly, Zsa Zsa went solo with the song “Kahit Na” exactly 26 years ago. “I’m glad I’m still around and continues to record new albums.”

What does she intend to do with Dolphy on Father’s Day and when he celebrates his birthday in July? “Wala pang plans. Di ba dapat, his kids should plan for him for Father’s Day. As for his birthday, I’m sure there’ll be a celebration. Last year was memorable kasi ABS gave him a concert and named their theatre after him.”


Is it true she’s eligible now to marry but she no longer wants to walk down the aisle with Dolphy? “No. My annulment case is still going on. There’s a story to that but I’m not allowed to discuss it. Six years na ‘yung annulment case, baka ma-extend pa if I talk about it. There was a time we planned the wedding na at nang di matuloy, I went into a deep depression at naging traumatic for me. But a doctor friend told me that weddings are usually done to start a married life. In our case ni Dolphy, more than 20 years na kami and what else do we have to prove daw? Which is true naman, mas matagal pa kami kaysa other showbiz marriages. We have nothing else to prove as our relationship has withstood the test of time. Noon nga, pronounced pa ang age difference namin. But now, I’m 45 and he’s 81, kaya malapit na kaming mag-abot.”

Is she happy with the way ABS handles Karylle’s career? “Oo naman. If there’s an upside sa breakup that happened to her, it’s the fact that people saw the grace in her. I’m really proud that she’s a graceful person. Naiisip ko nga, ang babait lahat ng daughters ko, pati sina Zia and Nicole. I must have done something good and even Dolphy said, Oo nga, ang babait ng mga anak mo.”

Has she seen Dingdong Dantes after the split? “Not yet. I’m praying for that nga, e, kasi I don’t know how I’d feel dahil nakita ko kung paano nasaktan ang anak ko. Kung si Kay, graceful about it, ako, napo-provoke, e. I just hope we’ll have a good encounter. The truth is may pictures pa siya sa bahay namin up to now kasi we really considered him a part of our family.”

How does she feel about the trouble that her friend Dr. Vicki Belo is facing right now, considering she’s a Belo endorser? “I don’t know, nakikitsismis din lang ako, e. I haven’t seen the videos and I have no itention of seeing them. I pray she’ll get through this unscathed. Lilipas din naman ito.”

Vicki fell for a much younger man. Would she consider herself wiser as she fell for a much older man? “I guess so, but if you’re old, siguro having a much younger partner does make you feel better, which must be the reason why Dolphy fell for me. But no matter what your ages are, the important thing is to just have mutual love and respect for each other.”
